Same Holiday, Different Experiences

Something I've always thought about is how holidays are a wildly celebrated and joyful time for most people but for others, those same holidays can spark sad thoughts and bring back memories from a life that doesn't exist anymore.

Our existences are like snowflakes in the sense that there's no two identical situations.

Everyone has their own defining factors and moments throughout their life.

And there's no way to know what someone else has experienced unless they're open about it, which can be tough.

So on this Mother's Day, I just want to share two friendly reminders:

Be empathetic, always.
Spend time with your loved ones and don't forget to show appreciation and make memories while they're here.
