digital availability is exhausting

don’t get me wrong - cell phones, the internet, and email have had a positive impact in everyone’s lives (in some aspect).

for example: since starting my business in 2020, i’ve made well over $100,000 directly through twitter and the connections i’ve made there.

and to me, even though i see the benefits, living within arm’s reach of anyone in the world being able to contact you 24 hours out of the day is insane.

it’s almost viewed as rude if you’re not immediately accessible.

in what world is that healthy?

if you’re available and ready for everyone, you’re present for no one.
